the problem with that is that it makes you the owner of your life and it almost makes God somebody who if he would write a proposal and submit it to you, you’ll take it under consideration. And if you say no, he can either revise that or you’re open for other proposals to what your life might be.

reworking that a bit and asking, why does Jesus have a plan for your life, basically comes to a place of saying, Jesus has a plan for your life because he wants to make it something more than you can make it without him. He actually loves you.
